It is a tightly woven cotton fabric with a deep indigo color and striped pattern using indigo-dyed threads. The expression changes dramatically depending on the color and pattern of the obi. **What is Ise-gata Kimono** Ise-gata Kimono” is a type of cotton fabric made of white Ise cotton produced by Usui Orimu, the only weaver in Mie Prefecture.
